Syfy has served up some other theatrical turds like: Aztec Rex, Grizley Rage, Ice Spiders, Supergator and Mansquito. Sharknado redefines the its-so-bad-its-good genre. Plot holes big enough to fly a Malaysian 777 through, dialog that could have been written by my 10 year old, and acting that ranks up there with the doodle-bops. These elements seem to be the new formula for SyFy's new rash of B movies.
Pair together the starpower thunderpunch of Tara Reid and Ian Ziering, and the viewing public did not stand a chance. There are talks of a sequel. I cannot even imagine. I thought that every conceivable way a man-eating shark could attack a human 100 miles inland and a few was that are inconceivable were all used up in the original. Will the sequel pack the same punch? I'm sure the viewership will be huge. Everyone wants to see if Sharknado 2 could possibly be worse than Sharknado Syfy Channel's new Gold standard in "B" Movies.
